First Level:

Focuses on introducing and understanding the method, emphasizing the importance of the dog’s well-being through our influence. It covers key concepts such as genetics and environmental factors, the tools used in training, safety measures, and applied psychology and ethology.

The course promotes the establishment of a harmonious relationship with the dog through positive reinforcement, which is essential for the canine student’s emotional management. It also emphasizes establishing clear communication channels to facilitate executing basic obedience exercises and more advanced commands in the human environment.

Overall, the program aims to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for effective canine training, ensuring the development of well-balanced, obedient, and emotionally stable dogs, while fostering a strong bond between dogs and their owners.

This level can be undertaken with your puppy or adult dog. We will also provide different dogs for practice sessions to enhance your training experience. If you do not own a dog but wish to provide temporary foster care for one, we can assist you with the selection process and guidance throughout. Our services ensure a smooth, informed experience for both you and your canine.

Practical Lesson tools:

  • 15-foot leash or double leash. 6-foot leash. Dogs treat pouch (large), Martingale collar.
  • Complementary tools for practical lessons: choke chain collar, Halti, or similar.

Course Duration: 2 Months, divided into 32 hours of 8 theoretical and 8 practical lessons of 2 hours each.

Times:

Theoretical: Wednesday 7 pm to 9 pm or Saturdays 9 am to 11 am.

Practical: Wednesday 5 pm to 7 pm, or Saturdays 11 am to 1 pm.

Note:

  • For theoretical classes, it is necessary to gather all students.
  • Regarding practical classes, flexibility varies; since we train dogs daily, students can attend at different times of the day and week.

2. Who Is This Course For?
It is for aspiring professional dog trainers, rescue and canine welfare participants, dog handlers, dog guardians who want to train their own dogs, and people in any dog industry who want to improve their skills in the field.
3. Do I Need To Own A Dog To Enroll?
No. You can take this level with your puppy or adult dog, practice with different dogs provided during sessions, or foster a dog with guidance if you do not own one.
4. How Long Is The Course And What Certification Do You Receive?
It lasts 2 months and totals 32 hours across 8 theoretical and 8 practical lessons of 2 hours each. Certification is Canine Educator (pet trainer), and the course is focused on preparation for the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam.
5. What days and times are classes held?
Weekday classes are held from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and Saturday classes are held from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
