Third Level:

After passing level A and any of the levels B, if you wish to learn more about advanced dog training, this module offers an opportunity to review various canine sports and advanced off-leash obedience.

It also provides an overview of different working dog areas, such as search and rescue, tracking, detection, and protection, among others. This course emphasizes the development, enhancement, and management of instincts through the application of lupine ethology and advanced canine psychology.

This could be the beginning of your career with a sport or a working dog. If you do not own a dog, we can provide one for you, and you may also have the option to foster it temporarily.

The program lasts two months, totaling 32 hours, divided into 16 two-hour classes, with an equal balance of theoretical and practical sessions.

This course is titled Assistance and Service Dog Trainer.

It is necessary to have the initial level (1) approved.
It is not necessary to have approved the level 2.

Certification: Emotional Support – Assistance – Service Dog Trainer (Life Enhancer).

Note 1: This initial course is 100% positive reinforcement, rewards-based, not avoidance or punishment involved.

Standard Certification: The course focuses on preparing for the AKC Canine Good Citizen exam, the recognized standard for well-behaved dogs in the United States, as well as other certifications in the area, depending on the goals and development area.

Theoretical Lessons Supplies:

  • Note-taking supplies.
  • Tridimensional Cecchi Method handbook.
  • Specific study materials.

Practical Lesson tools:

  • 15 feet leash or double leash.
  • 6-foot leash.
  • Dogs treat pouch (large).
  • Martingale collar.
  • Complementary tools for practical lessons.

Course Duration:

  • 2 Months divided into 32 hours of 8 theoretical and 8 practical lessons of 2 hours each.

Times:

  • Theoretical: Wednesdays 7 pm to 9 pm or Saturdays 9 am to 11 am.
  • Practical: Wednesday 5 pm to 7 pm, or Saturdays 11 am to 1 pm.

Note:

  • For theoretical classes, it is necessary to gather all students.
  • Regarding practical classes, flexibility varies; since we train dogs daily, students can attend at different times of the day and week.

Location: Our Facilities are in Yorba Linda, CA.

  • Theoretical: our own classroom.
  • Practical: our facilities and various public spaces where students can work amidst different distractions.

Starting Course
1. What Will I Learn In The Third Level?
You will review various canine sports and advanced off-leash obedience, and you will also receive an overview of working dog areas such as search and rescue, tracking, detection, and protection, and more.
2. Do I Need To Complete Levels 1 And 2 Before Enrolling?
After passing level A and any of the levels B, you can take this module if you wish to learn more about advanced dog training. It is necessary to have the initial level (1) approved, and it is not necessary to have level 2 approved.
3. Do I Need To Own A Dog To Take This Course?
If you do not own a dog, we can provide one for you, and you may also have the option to temporarily foster it if desired.
4. How Long Is The Course And What Certification Does It Offer?

Each class is limited to 10 students.
7. How many students are needed to begin a class?
A minimum of 5 students is required for the course to begin.
8. When does the first course start?
The first course begins on Wednesday, April 29.
9. How much does the course cost?
The full tuition is $3,499.
10. What is included in the tuition?
Students receive 16 lessons and 4 free lessons valued at $800.
11. How much deposit is required to hold my spot?
A $190 deposit is required to hold your spot.
12. Do students have access to the facility outside of class time?
Yes. Students may have access to the facility at other times, but they must call ahead to confirm.
13. Are there discounts available?
Yes. Discount amounts vary by student category, including regular students, dog walkers, and rescue volunteers.
